Found a few pieces to a 1800's (probably) cobalt stoneware jug today. Hard to read, but it looks like it's a 2 gallon jug and it has the letters S Rise or S Risl on it. Could be more letters, but they're hard to read. Any help with the maker and a precise date of manufacture would be appreciated.

Here's a few photos:

Until a member pipes in - I did a search and found something very similar (design) and they called it a 1800 Cobalt Beehive Antique Salt Glazed Stoneware Crock.

Also found Pottery & Porcelain Marks that may help with the letters.

Thank you! That is very close in design, so mine was probably from the 1800's as well. It may be a local jug, so it could be difficult to identify. I'll be going back there in a day or two to try and find the rest of it. I might even try to glue it together if I can locate most of the pieces. It would be a cool display piece, even if it was in rough condition.

I'll keep working on the lettering to see if I can come up with a full name.
