[Went to one of my favorite mountain canyons today where they mined gold starting in 1866. My first find was this pick head which was buried under a old rotten tree that had blown down years ago, The next good find was a 10 coin spill ( To bad it was a Chinese coin spill but still a fun find) not far from the spill out came the blacksmith made auger bit. Altogether a great day to enjoy the pine trees and uncover some history. 102_8883[1].webp102_8884[1].webp102_8885[1].webp102_8886[1].webp
