1805 cpc button or pin

I found this a couple of weeks ago and can't find out anything about it. It has the letters CPC painted on with the year 1805 also painted on. The letters and date are actually engraved in the silver under the paint. Any ideas or help in identifying this would be great!!

Cumberland Presbyterian College, Enfield Illinois ?? or the "CANADIAN POSTAL CORP" they had a Rebellion in 1885? www.dnd.ca/admmat/logbranch/handbook/volume6/chap2_e.htm

Thanks for the info. It's probably from Cumberland Presbyterian College. It was found on Presbyterian church property between where it's second and third church were located.The first church was just a brush arbor.(1750'S-1780'S) The second was a log church that burned to the ground in the early 1800's. The third church was built next to where the second burned and was used until 1901-1903. This site has been an excellent place to hunt!!
