Had a short day at work and decided to hit my dredge sand beach that keeps on giving. No joke first signal! When I got back to the truck I could see something was up. Looked like she had an extra ribbon in her hair and the last number on a clean date was hard to read? Looked in the red book and turns out I dug a draped bust with a die error! When looking with a loop I can see that it’s a 7 over 6 (hard to get a good pic) EDBB7C06-68C0-4847-897A-BC8A7AA074F5.webpB47ABDB5-820E-4ACD-89C5-31BD347BB2E7.webp797BF2E0-383C-4A02-A016-F4C2B6273542.webpC10F33FF-B27D-4E9A-A299-963C7FE865B5.webpon the last number of the date so cool! Hoping someone can look at that 1 in the date and say it’s a blunt like I think it is. If so it would make this a very desirable coin! Iv been wrong before but hope I’m not today. So calling all coin wizards tell me what you think!

That's freakin cool that's an awesome looking coin and with an error icing on the cake I need a slice here soon. Well done what a prize

Outstanding old copper recovery! :occasion14:

Definitely blunt 1 small 7 Worth while even with environmental damage!

Not sure about the error, but really awesome condition on that DB! Congrats

Very Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

FANTASTIC !!!

It took me a really long time to locate a nice 1807 Comet.... from a coin dealer, mind you, not from the ground! I rarely saw them at coin shows even 15-20 years ago, just because they are so popular with collectors. I've never seen one dug before, personally, so congrats!

Im thinking Banner worthy here. Im voting Such a rarity

Very nice! Congrats!

Whoa. Gear shape, early, die error, rare. This has everything! Banner.

You're killin' it again!! I too am voting banner for such a rare early American coin in remarkably good shape for it's time buried!!

Dig-MV, great find, just nominated for the banner. Good luck with hunts. Walt
