1817 Matron Head For The Finale!!

I got a call from "genlee" here on Tnet this morning.I invited him down along with his Brother.Didn't make it to the deer wood's as planned,kinda glad I didn't Any way I ended up in the field's where I found a 1774 KGIII over a week ago,well I ended up with a 1817 Matron Head You have to wet this to get a date off it but it can be made. Also found one of the thinnest flat button's ever,look's like an early button.Few other piece's including my 5th Agricultural bird band and of course the iron.Best part of it is everyone found an older coin than mine Awesome ending for 2011....Thank's for looking Post em' on up John!!

Great finds. Its always nice when you can get a date on a copper. Maryland soil is not very kind to copper.
