1820 large cent clean up help needed

I didn’t do anything to this coin except rubbing and using a dish brush (might of went to hard it when down to shiny copper) I didn’t go crazy with it and I thought I couldn’t get this much detail. This is crazy and I’m upset that I brushed to hard but the black stuff is really on there. The crud on here seemed at first almost impossible to get off
Should I take any more steps?

Looks like back was shot with buck shot or something. But I can’t get over the detail

I'd leave it alone! Most coppers I dig are in far worse shape.

I wouldn't take it any farther either. You did very well. I personally now like the Andre's pencils.

Clean all coins worth more then face value with warm water, dish soap and a soft cloth.

That copper is in pretty nice shape. I know the tendency is there to clean it up more but I would resist. Just as others have stated, leave it as is! You'll be kicking yourself if you end up ruining it by trying to get a little more shine out of it. The details are visible so be happy about that. Congratulations on a sweet find.

I would leave as is, the more you try to clean, the more detail you will remove. I have tested with ones and washing, soaking, brushing always destroys them. Nice find
