Nice finds Petrie502! I agree with wheatfinder13 - probably hanging from a neckless.

Its actually a property that started as a colonial and from what I understand about it

Jewelry is what I originally thought but who would wear a 10cent Canadian dime

The coin is dated 1910; the only ten cent Canadian coin date starting with 191X where the monarch is facing right. Mintage: about 4.5 million. Retail value is about $4 in VG-8 $9 in F-12 --on up to $400 in UNC. It contains 92.5% silver ( 0.0691 oz ASW).
Don....

10 cents was more valuable back in 1910. I'm sure some parents sewed coins into the child's clothing so as not to get lost.

Sweet man thanks I am 4 bucks richer!!!

My coppers never come out of the ground as coppers, lol.

Awesome finds Petrie!

Great looking coins.

Back in those day's coins were often holed and sown into the jacket or shirt so not to be lost...... .In this case .925 silver dime !!
Keep @ it and HH !!

what did you do to clean them...rock tumbler?

Nope I have a really nice sonic cleaner and I have a special cleaning solution I use that won't remove the patina!!
