Went back to the bean field for 4 hours this morning, had a pretty good day, weather was perfect and the machine was talking. I found all 8 of my capped silvers in this field. It's been a fun week. Good luck to all. Art

You dig more Capped Bust silver than anyone I know. All from the same field too. Amazing. What's even more amazing is that I just dug an 1827 dime myself five days ago. Your date looks different than mine, especially the 8. Also check the 10 C closely. If it is a flat top 1 it's worth a lot more. Yours looks like the pointed 1 but I can't tell for sure. Here's mine for comparison. I just noticed that the 1 in you date looks like it might have been stamped over a star. Might just be the pic but it looks odd.

Another amazing coin found by you,

Nothing short of impressive! WTG trap...beautiful coin!! Trap...think about it...you've dug 8 silver Capped out of that one field..and knowing what I know, there had to be a BUNCH of silver in that field to pluck 8 out of it. Long story short, there's many more! Looking forward to the next one...thx for sharing, Ddf..

HAD ONE IN MY HAND THIS WEEK________________too bad my LCS wanted it back :BangHead::BangHead:. guess I could go to Walmart for a CAP GUN :laughing7::laughing7:. soon you will have enough to fill a roll :dontknow:

wow, great coin, I felt great finding a seated..... and you keep finding these baby's.............

Congratualtions on the beautiful dime! :occasion14:

Unreal!! Contrats and hope there's still more waiting for you.

That is a Beautiful Coin.
I think dirtdigginfool is onto something.
Might have been a buried mason jar or some type of ceramic container that was broken during plowing with coins getting spread out. I would keep my eyes open for some type of broken vessel parts.
Congrats on a very nice save.
