Today the rain let off but the snow was still falling along with sudden gusts of heavy winds but still got an hour and half hunt at an old house built in the 1838, now used as an inn. I think what i found is a broach or barrette maybe a pin face it i don't know, it broke in two pieces(i found it broken like that) along with three nails in the same hole, i don't know if it is pewter or not it gives me a 25 reading on the fisher f75 and looks nothing like copper, i would also love to know the age of this find, also i made this duct tape trash pouch out of an old cloth and some duct tape because i don't know anywhere that sells trash pouches :laughing9:, but it works just fine for now. any relays on my questions on this item would be appreciated. Oh and the photo of the house was taken two winters ago not today. and it won relic of the month at the club meeting yay

Cool old relic. It really does make one wonder the age of something like that. Bravo on the pouch. You did a super job.

Most certainly the top bar from a 19th c. suspender clip.

Best Wishes,
