1833 Coronet Cent and a Sweet R&W Robinson Button!
I got back to the spot that I dug the Irish Halfpenny (http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,364744.0.html) earlier this week. There are not many targets left there, but after a while of digging I finally got a sweet signal that I was pretty sure was going to be a large copper. About 10 inches deep was the LC. The obverse looked pretty good, but the dirt stuck to the reverse told me it was not going to be pretty.

After a little while I dug the pocket watch and some other goodies, but then I got a very weak signal at 8 inches. It turned out to be a sweet looking floral button made by R&W Robinson from the 1840's!

It is funny that I had been to this site many times but I never detected it until last week.
Thanks for looking!
