Great find, beautiful silver, keep pounding that area I guarantee, there will be plenty more, slow and steady , I have been working the same fields for 3 years now and still pulling history out every couple days. GOOD LUCK!!
 

A last year minted - 1837 Capped Bust Dime - fantastic !
I had similar find a few years ago - dug a 1837 Half Dime - we lucked out - one year new and both coins would have been Seated.
Seated Liberty coins are a great find but the Capped Bust are much harder to find for sure !

Nice find.. I love finding capped bust dimes and half dimes.. I think of the US history in 1837. Here's my coin from the North found this week. It was made the same year. Comigrations.A Slave Token.webp
