1837 Cap Bust Half Dime, 1859 Fatty Indian, 1812 Eagle I, & 15 beautiful flat buttons

Well, I think the Mid Atlantic Relic & Coin Hunters did fairly well! We hit a 1780's site down at fellow member Chad's spot in the good Ol' North State. The soil was amazing, nice and sandy and the relics came out looking awesome! Our silver streak continues as a club with the wonderful cap bust half dime, barber dime and the merc. The buttons came out to play also. Overall, it was a blast and you can check it out on my Youtube page and see it live @ Wes-N-VA Mid Atlantic Relic & Coin Hunters or head over to our Facebook page and check out the conversations and discussions. Thank you and I hope everyone has a great treasure hunting adventure this week!

Nice digs! Congrats!

Sounds like you had a blast. Congrats on finding the elusive capped bust half dime.

Awesome Site/ Finds.
Love Capped & Barber Coins.
1812 Eagle I ????

Davers

Bust silver is a rarity around these parts, but is much more prevalent in NC according to my bud Dan. Congrats on what sounds like a fun hunt.

congrats; capped bust american coinage is my favorite. great variety. what kind of site is it?

It was a plantation house with about 250 acres of orginal land left untouched. Sandy peanut fields, my personal favorite to dig. The records we found started around 1786.

great site wes; should be plenty of old stuff still in the ground. keep in mind and look for signs of a hidden cache. cause they probably didnt have a bank close by. your site definately holds the possibility of hiding even gold. HH and good luck

Wes that's a hell of a hunt buddy! Still searching for my first Capped Bust. Great day

Outstanding hunt indeed ! Lots of oldies , nice variety .

WTG Wes!! Love the early eagle buttons. Don't think they date to War of 1812, more like 1820s-1840s, but always very cool to find. The capped bust is always a nice find.

I am dying to find a cap bust... way to go!!!

The capped bust is wonderful and I love all the buttons.
