Found a few things my last couple of hunts but a real surprise was a 1837 US hard times token. It’s not in very good shape at all but at least it’s identifiable. Up here in my area of Nova Scotia I cant imagine there are very many of those to find. It gives me hope of finding some old US silver maybe because last year I found a very nice 1818 US large cent in the same area. A couple other things I liked was a 1888 large cent in great shape once the crust flaked off. Not many large cents turn out like that dug up around here. Most crumble away. Last decent find was a nice toy tractor. When I first seen it I didn’t think it would turn out very well with the wheels all off the rims etc. but after the clean up at home and getting the wheels back on track without breaking them it ended up in great shape. Thanks for looking! [emoji16][emoji106]

I dug one of those HTT back in the spring...so they do show up
the only hard times around here are the crops in the fields, just a few more weeks to easy finds

I bet your right. Even though we did have a heat wave for awhile there. Up around the high 20’s/low 30’s. I’m not sure what temps your at this summer but It felt great except half of it was major high humidity which sucks! [emoji16]

I truly truly love your whole hunt. Amazing assortment of killer finds. Tiny bit jealous I must admit. Congratulations

Thanks. I bet you have some goodies hid away that I’d be way more jealous of!!! HaHa [emoji16]

Nice finds. I dug the same 1837 Hard Times Token about 15 years ago. Mine is in pretty crusty shape also, but at least there was enough lettering and design left to where I could identify it.
