Hi everyone,

Since I haven't had a chance to post this find on Treasurenet. Here's an other recent find I made, this one on a site not far from Montreal. Found a bunch of military items there as well (musket parts, buttons, regiment uniform plate, LOTS of Canadian and British copper coins and some silver all from the early to mid 1800's). I'll try to post some other items in the future if I don't get too much on your nerves. :-)

It's my only US silver so far as they are not that common in my region. But it had to be this beauty! Really happy with this one!

Thanks again for the comments on my previous posts.

Congrats on the first year of the seated coins. Great find!

Excellent find! Congratulations on a special coin. Looks like it's in very nice condition too.

That's a fun find. My earliest seated is an 1838.

Congrats!!

Great find, and in great condition! Congrats!

WOW! A Real Beauty.
I collect the 1837-1840 No Stars /No Drapery Types of Seated Coins ,ever since I dug a 1839 Dime a few years back.
Thanks for posting.

Fantastic Find!

Looks to be VF or EF condition...!! Wow!
Don't know, but it might be large date,
but, none-the-less, that is a BEAUTY
Be proud to have that one! :icon_thumright:

Congrats on the sweet seated. And finding it in Canada makes it even sweeter. I've only found one seated dime on this side of the border in seven years. Good job it's a beauty

That is a really nice looking half dime. I have dug a few, but all of mine had stars. Really hoping to find a seated silver with no stars one day.
In my opinion, something about the no stars variety just looks neater.

Beautiful Seated Half dime find with nice detail, congratulations! :occasion14:

Sweet find please keep postin that's what makes this site so great!!!

Gorgeous!! I can't even find one of those here in the US?? Lol. So close to a capped bust!! Very old seated, and simply gorgeous. Ps. I've found a couple 1800's silver Canadian Dimes down here in Massachusetts, and they are two of my favorite coins, also very gorgeous. Cheers. Thanks for sharing
