1843 Copper Large cent and a Musket ball ?(my hunt with djabend)

On Saturday last week djabend invited me to hunt some farmland he has access to..and it turned up a couple of firsts for me as well as my new ACE250, We spent a few hours detecting the water logged hay field,rain from the previous night made it a tad cool out,but all in all i had a great time.

we found a total of 3 Large cents that day one of them being my first ever large copper( i smiled the rest of the day thanks to Donny)

I also found what i believe to be a lead musket or pistol ball--pictured below next to a dime so you can get an idea of it's actual size--i have no measurements or weight on it so I'm hoping someone can tell me a bit about it based on the pic only

also pics of my 1843 Large Cent and a hunting knife i also found that day

A pistol ball is what i was thinking..its lead with some heft too it,and it looks like it was dropped(un fired)

it is the first one i've ever found so my knowledge is nil

I looked in the redbook and that is the way that year was minted.

WTG unearthed!!!....Ive yet to find a large cent....That ones got nice details too!...I compared a 36 cal ball on a dime to your pic and think its larger than a 36 maybe 45?...Id be goin back!. ..............Don

Hi, I found a similar item in a soccer field about the same size and weight and whitish too. Here is picture.
