Got out for about 2 hours and had a little luck. The ground in spots were frozen solid but in other spots the ground was perfect. The 3 cent piece was a nice surprise. The signals were loud and clear. Can't wait for a little more to thaw!

Very awsome 3 cent piece. I feel for you with the frozen ground. Same here in Illinois. I got an hour in for a test run.

Nice finds!
1851 O?

Great finds anytime of the year. Congratulations !!

Nice finds. The 3 cent piece has an O on the right of the reverse of the coin. the O is the mint mark for New Orleans. It lists for about $35 in good condition
