1852 Silver Three Center & Few Buttons

Hi All,

Well it has been a long time coming, but I finally made it out to dig again yesterday. I went to a foundation that I have done well in the past for a few hours. This place has never given up a silver coin until yesterday. It came early in the hunt and it was a weak signal on Deus and dug down and out popped the 3 center, my second of my detecting career, which is well over 25 years. That was the only coin dug, but dug up a few buttons to go with the coin. Just getting out swinging the detector was the real find of the day .

GREAT SAVE!!!!!. I am also a member of the '52 club. got mine in June, also the only coin found at a site in St. Remy NY.

Sweet coin! The only one of those I'd have a chance at finding down here would be the lone New Orleans minted 3c silver. I've dug a couple of those pewter drawer pulls myself, all from down here in Louisiana.

It hit lower on the scale then the bigger silver coins, which also was the case with the one I dug many years ago.
