Hi All,

Well it has been a long time coming, but I finally made it out to dig again yesterday. I went to a foundation that I have done well in the past for a few hours. This place has never given up a silver coin until yesterday. It came early in the hunt and it was a weak signal on Deus and dug down and out popped the 3 center, my second of my detecting career, which is well over 25 years. That was the only coin dug, but dug up a few buttons to go with the coin. Just getting out swinging the detector was the real find of the day .

That 3 center is a very cool coin that doesn't show up often

Lovely coin! :hello2: I'll be thrilled if I ever dig one as it's a very cool design. :cat: Andi

Nice to see you out there again Bubba:headbang:

Those 3 centers do not show up often...Cellar season is just around the corner..

WTG on the Trime! Still looking for my 1st.

Yep, a cool coin.

Before joining this site I had never heard of a trime, but now I really want to find one! Very cool find, congrats! I dig the old spoon handle too.

Nice finds! I found a 52 3 cent as well, craziest looking thing coming out of the dirt with as small as it is! Well done and HH!

Nice finds sweet coin..

Thanks all for the good words

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures

Beautiful and elusive coin- congrats. What kind of a signal did it give you, being such a small coin?

GREAT SAVE!!!!!.IMG_1035.webpIMG_1036.webp I am also a member of the '52 club. got mine in June, also the only coin found at a site in St. Remy NY.

Sweet coin! The only one of those I'd have a chance at finding down here would be the lone New Orleans minted 3c silver. I've dug a couple of those pewter drawer pulls myself, all from down here in Louisiana.

Cheers,

Buck

It hit lower on the scale then the bigger silver coins, which also was the case with the one I dug many years ago.
