Back in Western Maryland at 1863 Retreat Cavalry battle. Detecting Union cavalry field and found 1 Sharps ringtail drop and several high impact minie balls. Two are Confederate Gardner’s, 2 3 ringers and 2 other can’t ID. Also 2 pistol bullets.
1906 V Nickle, button, grommet.
Heavily hunted out area but Equinox was finding them 6-10” down.

Doesn't it make you wonder when you find some of these bullets if they were ones that actually picked off a soldier? I can't help but think of the poor soul who may have got tagged.. Great finds!

Yes in the past I’ve found some like these next to rocks but these were in open field not near rocks.
