1875 Indian Head decent shape

Well I almost have my personally found Indian Head collection complete. I found this one today, barely an audible signal, 10" deep using my Lesche as a ruler. I found the tough one in the spring, I need 1909s, 1879, 1870. I think the 1909s may take a lifetime to find. Interestingly, most of my 1870's series were all found in the same general area and all real deep too. Chow!

Awesome shape, how many years has it taken to ALMOST complete your dug set? I have been detecting for 5 yrs now and only need 7 to complete my DUG injun set

Great job, Brett.......looks like a full Liberty on your 1875 IH.......excellent condition for coming from so deep in the ground, maybe coming from that depth has protected it from harsh chemicals......Also, like your Avatar and the Clovis in the center, that you found back in 2009.....we have had a lot of rain around here, and hope to get out this weekend to a large newly plowed field that is very near a very old heavily populated early Indian site....wish me luck.

Oh I say 7 years now. I did sell by better 1876 (it was dug and definately AU condition). I have sold duplicates too over the years.

Yes, finding that 1909-S might take a little time. I hope you find it. It does make me wonder if anyone has ever found the entire Indian Head series with a metal detector. You might become the first.
