does anyone know how much a 2 1/2 inch barrel .41 1877 colt thunderer handgun may be worth? the serial number is in the 43,000 range.

Condition is everything. We need a couple of pics to give you an educated estimate. Depending on a multitude of things ( condition , complete , finish , provenance etc) it can be worth $200 - $2000. If it was dug, its worth almost nothing , if it is in like new condition with original grips, cleaning rod etc it will be on the high end.
