I recently acquired an 1880/70 California Gold Half Dollar Coin graded MS64 by PCGS. I have looked on Ebay and in the Red Book and have found the coin but not an 1880 version or the 1880/70 version. I am just curious what the value of this coin is. Thanks.

HALF DOLLAR GOLD COIN???? The thing must be itsy bitsy. How big across is it? I've never seen nor even heard of such a coin. It must be pretty rare, huh? I wonder how many are lying out there waiting to be found.....hmmmm.....something else to hope for!

Very cool, I want one!

I lost the charger for my camera but I need to go to Best Buy tonight anyway so I'll get a charger and post the pic. I also bought an 1851 gold coin with the Charlotte mint mark (I live in Charlotte and have been wanting a "C" coin for awhile. The 1/2 dollar is a bit smaller.
