Just enough snow was melted today so i went for it. Not much time before dark but i did get a surprise 1880 Newfoundland large cent. It looked great coming out of the damp soil but i have a feeling it wont hold up well. It was nice to dig a old coin though thats for sure. Thanks for looking! [emoji2][emoji106]

Nice finds K1DDO1979! Thanks for sharing...

Hi, nice find:icon_thumleft:

Great find. I too have found some old coinage which looks nice coming out of the ground and seems like the details wither away right in front of your eyes. Definitely frustrating but that's just what happens sometimes. Oh well, what else can you do but keep detecting and find more coins! :tongue3:

Must feel good finding an oldie like that and it’s only March.

Nice find, I hope you finds lots more this year!

Thanks everyone. The hunting weather is looking good now for awhile now! [emoji2][emoji106]
