I had a little time to hunt today, so i hit a local cellar hole. the only good signal was next to a tree about 9 inches down under a big fat root. It was one of those signals where you know its a pain in the a$$ to get to, so you leave it and hunt around a little, but come back to it 3 or so more times wondering weather or not to dig it. So many of these targets turn out to be bullets that hit the tree, but this was too deep for that, and the tree was not that old. So i convinced myself to dig it and unbaffle the mystery of this signal. Turned out to be an 1880s oil lamp hanger, many pieces are missing from it, as i was able to discover from one on ebay. but thats ok, ill find a place for it. i did ad 2 ebay pics also, enjoy
