1883 PIN ...would you call this rose gold or?

Bought a bunch of trinkets and charms from a local yard sale....this was among them. nice dig. seldom happens to me.

does the term "rose gold" have a real meaning to collectors? Interested in your take on this term and my find.

As to the rose gold, it's a mix of other alloys to give the gold color, rose gold specifically has a copper content as to where pure gold is yellow. Read here...

I think its a good ID hammer. I think its possible to be umarked rose gold.
