Well yesterday I was driving around and I saw This Old House and noticed a old man in the yard , so I decided stop by make contact with him introduce myself and ask about the house , he sid that house was built in 1888 and it sits on 2.5 acres. I asked for permission to search the yard and he said no problem have fun so I went this morning and started my hunt excited believing I'll be pulling silver after silver but after 4 hours of hunting I was only able to pull out a commemorative token 20170830_114858.webp20170830_114902.webp20170830_114855.webp20170831_091355.webp20170831_130926.webp20170831_130939.webp

The token looks like it may have been worn around the neck as pendant and then turned into a button.

2.5 acres is a lot of land. Try thinking outside the box and maybe hit it again?

Very interesting find! :occasion14:

IMHO, there will be a lot of keepers on that property. The key will be going real slow (you have a Minelab) and listening to the sweet sound of silver we all know as Minelab users. :icon_thumright:

Very cool token ! :occasion14:

I would not be the least bit disappointed with that cool old token coin converted into a pendant then a button?!? That thing has BUKU CHARACTER and is old and historically significant. I absolutely love finds like that. I would be hitting that place hard searching for other cool stuff dating back to that token. Going slow as the Minelab needs to process a lot of information.:headbang:

Nice old token Jimmy, your the token daddy!!! Congrats!

That token is definitely cool have you figured out who is on it? I can not make out the names. HH

NEEET TOKEN FIND...

Not so much of a token as a commemorative medallion. Cool find. The 2 middle holes were added later, only they top hole should be there.

Very nice Presidential token for Benjamin Harrison, and running mate Whitelaw Reid

Very cool! If that token could talk I bet it would have a lot to say about its use. Not just a token looks like it was worn as a pendant and then a button. Well done. Property looks nice but was probably resurfaced if you didn't find much, unless it was heavily detected before.

Congrats and HH

Nice historical save.

Wow, what a cool old find! You scored again! Congrats bud! :occasion14:
