1887 Millard, NE dog tag

Here is a dog tag I found in aobut 1978 when I was a teenager living in Millard, Nebraska. I had maybe a year of detecting under my belt using a White's Coinmaster TR. I was sea4rching the front yard of a friend of mine who lived near the RR tracks that ran through town. For years I thought this was some kind of RR tag. Now I know it is an old dog tag, and an OLD one. I cannot find any kind of tag this old from Millard. The plat for the town of Millard was laid or proposed in 1870. This is an absolutely beautiful tag in outstanding condition.
