1890 American Express Messenger Hat Badge

Got out today with my brother at a Old homesite. The house dates back to the 1790's but it's been detected quite abit. We was about to leave and decided to take one more trip through the back yard and got a good solid signal. When I dug it I thought it was some kind of hat plate, but a 1890 American Express Messenger hat badge was something i didn't even knew existed. I really like this Find very different and rare I would think. It just goes to show you never know what's in the next hole. HH, Bill
