Back to the woods today, and decided to grid hunt a small area that I've previously hunted, but never grided. Found a few buttons, a brass shotshell, a lead bullet, a buckle, and an 1890 Seated Liberty Dime. I was lucky it's a Seated - two years newer and it would have been a Barber. Also, I'm glad that the obverse is in better shape that the reverse. The small button in the center of the first picture has writing on the front. Before cleaning it, I'm almost sure one word was Francaise; but now that I cleaned it, I can't read anything on it.
