Thank you for sharing!

TOO COOL ! The pigs around here are running around with swim fins and a snorkel ! To say it's a little wet in my hunting grounds is an understatement. Not much of a chance to dry out by the time my season starts.

I just watch a show titled America Before Columbus and they told how the early explorers brought the domestic pig here and some got away and how they morphed into these wild hogs we have today. Wonder why they haven't spread across the whole country, being a pig and all that will eat anything? I sure hope you have a chance to kill a few of those *******s

Grant,

Those hogs are a BIG problem everywhere, down in the Great Smoky Mountains the rangers told me "Shoot everyone you see".They rooted up 1/2 of my front yard on a Monday and the other 1/2 two days later. Those things can get BIG and are VERY DANGEROUS.

Another of GODS creation..afraid of..NO respect..YES!

Maybe you could trap them and donate the meat to folks who need the help.

The excess of prairie dogs around here get trapped and then go to the Denver zoo to be introduced to the hyenas, polar bears, tigers, leopards and other carnivores who enjoy fresh meats. Some I'm told go to the birds of prey rehabilitation center near me. I would think letting those hogs go loose in a pen of lions at the zoo might just keep their spirits up being locked up in a pen and all. I would love to watch that as an attraction. I remember one time I took my young daughter to the pet store and she was looking at a small boa constrictor. All of sudden a little hatch at the back of the cage opened and in came a little white mouse. That snake in the blink of an eye latched on to that little mouse and coiled it up strangling it. We didn't stay to watch it devour the mouse, as that whole scene was very upsetting to her and she cried in the car all the way home.

Have rifle, will travel!! I have been dieing to get down there to do some hog hunting, just haven't had the time or money too! Hope you have a blast with them when it cools down a bit!

Trapping is only somewhat effective if you can catch every animal in the sounder at once, because any one that does not get caught in the trap the first time, will NEVER go anywhere near a trap again.
They are extremely intelligent and prolific animals.

19 hogs...20 round mag. See how nice things always work out? 🐗

You would think this country could come up with a program that does something like that. There's a need to feed and a food source that is in abundance and a nuisance.
