1901 S Barbara quarter??

I went Metal detecting the other night and found this on the beach just looking for opinions if I’m seeing what I see if it’s a 1901S if you look at the tip of the needle it looks like what appears to be a S

That would be nice if it turns out to be an "S". Huge difference in value! Pretty rough shape though. Even though you hate to clean a potentially valuable coin, I don't see any other way to I.D. it for sure. Even if you clean it, you may still not be able to confirm the mint mark. Personally, I don't see a mint mark in your photo. Good Luck though!
