I have hunted out about 150 wheats from various locations before this lone IHP. I've been in the gutter with finds lately after a blanked copper and aforementioned wheaties, so this brightened my day. Subsequently I was rained on 5 minutes later but that's a-ok:)

Cheers!

Good looking coin. I'd be happy with it.

I've heard it's hard to find those not toasted so good on you!

I have hunted quite a few times and found less. Nice one.

Nice indian, any indian is a great day

I only found my first one this year and it was beyond toast!

Sharp looking IH. Congrats!

Wow, that's in great shape. The soil around here is not kind to copper. About 1/2 the wheats I have found I could barely get a date off of. I still haven't found an Indian after almost a year of detecting.

nice ihc,great condition!

You have to get into the old spots. I have hunted a lot of places where they SHOULD be, but not found any. They will also generally ring up in the zinc penny range, so prepare to dig anything just below a wheat penny reading.

Same here on one I found Tuesday evening, so that 1902 is in great shape! I thought it was just the soil around here.

good point pointman...I've scored all my old wheats & Indians in the zinc range,i thought it was a bounty hunter thing..

Nice IH, sure beats wheats...

Nice find. We don't see many of them around here. It is WAY easier to find a silver than an IHC. Good job!

Stop bragging! Lol

Hey OD, Just trying to make YOU jealous!

It is a fact though, I have 3 IHCs and 41 silver coins, using math, I was able to figure out that IHCs are over 13 times harder to find than silvers.

Scrappy, Again, nice find, sorry for highjacking your thread.. it is OD's fault!

Yea, I would be totes happy to see that then a damn Wheat..lol
