Hello!

Today we had our monthly club outing. There was some silver coins found there, but not by me! The only things I dug of any interest was a 1984 Dog Tag from Veneta Oregon, silver ring, and part of a silver necklace.

After the club outing Ron and I took off on a little road trip to hunt an old house that we received permission to hunt. We were also trying to find a gold wedding ring that was thought to be lost in the yard. We didn't find the ring (I don't think it was lost in that yard). The people's yard was smaller than I thought it was gonna be ~ actually too small for us both to hunt at the same time. We kinda took turns ~ Ron hunted the back yard while I hunted the front ~ then we'd switched spots. Even though the area was kinda small we still found a few goodies. I dug a 1946-S Roosevelt time, 1902-S Barber Quarter, 9 wheats dating from 1939 to 1957, and a silver ring.

I took pic's of the silver coins and the other stuff before and after I cleaned 'em up. These are my silver coin finds #24 and #25.

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Outstanding hunt!!!

Twenty five in early February? What's your goal this year - 200, 300? At this rate, the sky's the limit!

Nice Finds congrats That Barber is Sweet That was a fun Hunt HH :headbang:

Awesome find on the Barber quarter im still waiting for my first, i was hoping last year was the year because it seemed like year of the barber, we (the dirt fishin crew) ended up digging more barbers then mercs this year. I got like 7-8 barber dimes but no quarters. Happy dirt fishing!

Thanks man!

Yeah, my goal is always 100 silvers. Last year I got to 102. And, I dug 104 in 2008. I feel I'm off to a good start for 2010 ~ 25 silvers and we're only two weeks into the 2nd month of the year! It will be interesting to see my count on Dec. 31, 2010.

8^)

The rate you're going you'll make 100 easily, Neil. Nice silver finds and fun times :icon_sunny:
