1905 Barber Quarter....she's a beauty!!

My finds from this morning across the street....thought I had it hunted out, but I guess not (should know better)...glad I returned.
Surprisingly poor signal for this quarter, must have been sitting funny in the ground..almost didn't dig!!
Not my oldest quarter, but certainly my nicest one yet.

Top left is an old button, not sure what the oval shaped object is??

That barber looks great.

You can never hunt a site out. I've pulled barber quarters from sites I had pounded. You just never know.

Great digs!!! Youre right, "shes a beaut" all right! I think the oval thing might be one half of a button.I have dug a few of these and think it was the gromet side of a button that slid in and turned/twisted. I could be wrong but I remember seeing these fasteners in the 70s on girls coats mainly. Just my 2 cents worth. Sweet digs though!!!
