I struck out to the hill I have been detecting the last couple of weeks where an old 1800's home burnt years ago. Very cold today! But, that didn't stop me. It paid off big time with a nice 1906 Half right on the surface!! I have included a youtube video also.

Congratualtions on the Barber Half!

Great note to end the year on!

Holy crap, nice Barber!!

Nice big silver

That half is a heckuva way to finish the year. Congrats! Is that a stone Mason's chisel with the horseshoe?

Well, it may be. I thought it was a chisel too. However, I cleaned the mud off enough to reveal a lug/lip for shoulder of handle to slide in. I built a electrolysis bath and plan on throwing it in. Will know better then.

Congrats on the big silver thanks for sharing

Great job on the Barber Half. Enjoyed the video.

Barber half dollars are always great coins to find.

Nice half Bluebird & a good looking brass bridle cover as well. HNY & HH, Q.

That's a beautiful coin.
Congrats on ending the year with a bang.
