I love this hobby, not knowing what is comming out of the ground next, and the unexpected goodies that sometimes do.
This was a fairly serious dig, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Yeah my shoulder knows it. The clad amount is quite ridiculous, a record amount actually.
The little 5¢ piece was one of those surprises, TID of 79 just like the pennies that were there.
This rather large ring came from a large field with almost no targets. There is no stamp, but had a TID of 80 both in the ground and out, the stone is real (has inclusions). As a comparrison the junk loop earing in the first pic has a TID of 57. I know it is a bad sign when a piece is not marked, but it is a fact that not all of it is.
Had a good week, with three old Silver coins, including the 1851 3 center from july 31.
Good luck out there.
