I had mentioned this dime in another post I decided I should share it.its one of the best things we have found up there so far.so we were just panning down through this narrow ravine were alot of hardrock mining had been done in the past.finding fine gold and square nails.the usual.then my girlfriend calls me over to show me this dime.when I relize what she had found I was feeling pretty jealous because its almost cooler than finding a nugget.she said at first she thought it was just a modern coin untill it was cleaned off.I did redeem myself with a chunk of mercury and fine.gold weighing a half ounce down by the old stampmill though.I think I would rather have the coin

Wow,that's a nice one, congrats to your girlfriend. Maybe you will get lucky and find one too.

She showed it to a coin dealer and he offered her 10 bucks for it.from what we seen it could be worth alot more.believe me it will never be sold anyway.

Well dang it, I'm jealous too! Great find in great shape!

Man! That's a good one!

That's a very nice Barber. Congrats to your girlfriend. Now it's your turn.

:notworthy: Beautiful coin! :notworthy: Delightful that it was discovered while panning & looking around! :notworthy: As my dad was born in 1908, it's really fun for me to have a look at this! Big congrats to you & your girlfriend for getting out and enjoying the treasure hunts. This coin will mean more to both of you than its sale value. Andi

Beautiful coin.
Hats off to your girlfriend and congrats on your Merc and gold.

Exceptional find!

Very nice coin. Looks like it's fresh out of the mint. I can't even find a daggone sliver Roosevelt dime, let alone a like-new Barber. I've been in the hobby eight months and still searching for my first silver coin.

Great find!! That coin is in great shape. Way to go!
