Hello everyone!

So, I cut out of work a few minutes early today so I could do some detecting downtown. The weather was perfect for detecting ~ sunny and barely 60 degrees ~ a little cool but real NICE!

Here's what I dug today:

1909-S Barber Dime
1964-D Roosevelt Dime
1927-D Wheat cent
1950-D Wheat cent
2 clad quarters
4 clad dimes
1 nickel
22 Memorial cents
Golden Lapel pin thingy

The 1964-D Silver Rosie got beat up pretty badly before I found it! It's UGLY!!! And I have NO IDEA what the lapel pin thing is ~ "WIS" with a "3" and a small purple colored gem. Any ideas?!

The Barber dime is #87, and the Rosie is #88 Silver coin I've dug this year! I took pic's of the two silver dimes before I cleaned 'em up!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Neil,

You're becoming a 1-2 silver a day "kind of guy"!! ;D ;D

I think you should be shooting for 125....you'll get to 100 easily at this pace!! Although the weather could get very wet where you're at in no time.

Congrats on your finds!!

NO wonder you're smiling in your picture. Nice finds!! I'd love to get off work and hit
a site like that. Heck I wouldn't be into work for a week, hunting that site.

Congrats on the silver!

Good luck,
HH.

Thanks Dan!

Yeah, I'm feeling 100 silvers ~ but 125? That may be pushing it some! I only dug 63 silvers in all of 2007 ~ I'm way past that in 2008, with several more weeks to go! WOOHOO!!!

Later!
Neil

hey man silver is silver :P congrats on the Barber... they are always fun to find..... I like the S mints...... and maybe the pin is from Wisconsin something or other........ as for the 63 silvers last yr.. I hit 59..... but this year im stuck at 30...... fortunately (2) of those silvers have been half dollars..... but man you are awesome to have his 88 already! Congrats man

Good Going Neil!

Still a lot of time left to up your total.
Mike

Looks like you are managing to keep the silver count edging closer to your goal. :icon_sunny:
Continued success in the silver coin chase.
The other item looks like a fancy zipper pull to me !? Gold Nuggets :icon_jokercolor:
