Hello!
I took a drive up north today with Richard & Ron. It rained all day, but we still detected for several hours!
Ron let me use his Minelab Explorer SE & ETrac ~ I sure like both those detectors! I especially like the tone ID, but I need to start digging those low tones ~ I didn't dig any nickels all day! Here's what I dug:
1917 Merc dime
1939-S Merc dime
7 wheats ~ 1916 to 1955
Silver ring with black Onyx
11 Clad quarters
16 Clad dimes
110 Memorial cents
With the camera on my cell phone I took pic's of both the dimes while they were still in the dirt just as I dug them.
These dimes are my silver coin finds #32 & #33 for the year.
I assume this silver ring is kind of old ~ I dug it pretty deep! The jeweler's mark is a "U" with an arrow through it ~ anyone know who's jeweler's mark this is?
Thanks for looking!
Neil
