Over the past few days I've been able to get some time in at my favorite farm that has recently been plowed. My hopes were high as I thought that I had pretty thoroughly hunted the fields prior to it being turned over. While I wasn't able to find a lot I did find a few interesting items. For artifacts I was able to find a complete flat button with an interesting design and a fully intact shank. I was it also able to find a really nice late 18th century cufflink with an anchor design. I was only able to find two coins unfortunately... But one was noteworthy for me. First, a 1938 wheat Penny... And the real prize- a 1919 Mercury dime- in decent shape for being in a plowed field for almost 100 years! Thanks for looking.
