Howdy TNetters. I dug this 1919 Ohio license plate that doesn't look too bad for being buried for the majority of it's life! I copied a picture of an non-dug version also. Keep Swinging!!

Very cool old relic. I have recovered a few and they are a bear to get out of the ground intact. Nice recovery and looks presentable to me.

cool plate,my best is a 1939 California worlds fair (5A 367)

I like the OHIO logo on the plate.

Wow, I have never heard of someone digging up a license plate. Nice job

Pretty cool, nice old wall hanger.

I am very lucky that I took my time on this one and that I didn't destroy it when recovered. Keep Swinging!!

Sweet save. That plate is almost 100 years old.
It's probably been in the ground for better than 90 years. Surprisingly,, it still got a little meat to it.
Congratulations

Congrats on a great relic. I like old license plates.

That rusty patina look makes for an awesome display piece. I found a 1950 Ohio plate earlier this spring that has that rusty look and My son-in-law hung it in his office at work.
Great recovery.
