1920's car body
Lamar, Colorado - head south on 385/287 13.5 miles from the junction of 287 and 385. In the creek bottom cottonwoods on your left (east) was (1979-1981) a 1920's vintage car body. MY closest guess is 37deg 54' 03", 102deg 36' 25". The body was complete, no bullet holes, still had the glass, the seat fabric was gone but the framing was still there. The oak used in the interior of cars of this vintage was still there. I found several car and truck bodies like this. Looks like the frame was used as a trailer when the vehicle died. Quite a nice find and should be worth a few dollars as well.
