I don't do water hunting, so I probably don't find as many nice rings as a lot of people do, but this is probably one of the nicest class rings that I have seen come out of the ground. It was found on a military academy grounds that dates back to 1855. I have found many silver class rings there, but never a gold one. I tried to locate the owner to no avail. The school was not at all helpful in giving out any information, and although I had permission to detect there for many years, the school now has a new Dean who doesn't allow detecting.
