I went metal detecting in a old ghost town area near where I live. The area has been pretty well detected before but I remembered a book said to look at the area and think of where I would hide things. There were big rocks behind the foundation of the house I found. There were a lot of crevices and I thought what a great hiding place.
I checked the rocks with my detector and got a good signal and stuck my hand in and found a piece of metal standing upright under a rock in the hole. It was this 1924 Idaho Lic. Plate. Really cool finding a lic plate that old in good shape.
Remember to look for good hiding places.
