You would probably only get melt from a dealer, about 10X face or so.

My local dealer is currently paying just over $12 per $1 face value. The coin is worth a little more than $3. These coins used to have some numismatic value above junk silver price, but not at the moment. Silver has been so hot over the last 3 years that many of the rules we got used to in buying and selling have changed.
