Well went back to my new spot today, nothing of interest other than this







Pretty rough shape though, but I don't care it's my second one ever. Pretty stoked!

Worn silver is still good. Most of the pre 1930s' mercs that I have found are well worn. I think that they were carried longer in the pocket.

Probably right, if they lost one they'd probably look a whole day for it. Worth more back in the day. Ten cents would get you a long ways back then.

Makes me wonder what else is there. Just found this spot by chance, walking the woods started getting nail hits, so I've been back twice, then found it. Tells me there's more.... Hopefully
