Only one I’ve ever found ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1569610566.292766.webp

I read the title, and was excited to see a license for a cat chauffeur.

Very cool find nonetheless. :)

Wow, did they really issue almost 300,000 of those?:dontknow:

At LEAST 300,000. I wonder if a chauffeur's license was also required by cabbies and maybe even bus drivers?

Even if there were 12 million people in the state then, That would be one license for every 40 people. Just seems like a lot to me.

My two main detecting buddies each have one from Minnesota. I was there when one of them found his in a field that once held a one room country school. No such luck here, though.

Very nice piece of history.....My first Chauffeur badge I found here in Texas was a 1920 New York. Here is a link with a little info on badges.

A Fantastic find !

Awesome find! I am from the KC Missouri area and hunted an old friend's mother's yard a few weeks back. She said her (dead) husband had hunted it extensively, but I thought what the heck, newer tech might find something...
I found a few coins, some toy cars and this!Dorothy Sisson's Yard 10-03-20f.webp
This one's from 1940. I know it's not NYC or ANY big city, but maybe that's even rarer to find?

Found one in New Mexico for a New Mexico taxi a few years back while looking for arrowheads. It was laying on top of the desert ground.

They are neat finds congradulations,pic_20201212_173531.webp I found 4 total gave one away over the years. They came from the same park Dates are 1928 1926 and 1914
