Hi I am new to this and have been buying up silver coins. I bought this 1929 national currency Federal Reserve Bank of Boston STAR NOTE serial # A00007241*
I am told that only 12 are known to exist as far as the star versions. it is in VF condition. I called a currency dealer before i bought it as the ones without the star are not rare and inexpensive. when i told him what i had he offered me 750.00 and then i sent a picture of the note and he jumped to 1250.00. this threw a flag up in my brain as to the value. I cannot find any for sale to compare and found that only 12 are known to exist. Can anyone give me some guidance on value
? maybe it is listed in a currency book. i only have the coin book.
