Haven't been out for a few days do to illnesses. Thought I would post a couple of cool finds. First was a folded up bowtie chunk of dirt and copper. I straightened it out to find it is a 1933, century of progress, Chicago, bracelet. Next is a brass backed sink plug. It is grasping a 1/4" thick glass disc. Below the disc is a beautiful flower picture. Not sure if it's a sink plug or a milk bottle plug. If anyone knows, please post.

Nice find. I like that World's Fair bracelet. I have dug a few tokens from the '33 Worlds Fair, but have never seen a bracelet like that one.

Neat looking bracelet!

I would have thought the 'plug' is a ladies adjuster buckle for a sash belt?

You'll find them with all kinds of decorative insets, including under-painted glass.

Love the bracelet. I've seen one with a similar inscription that had a really cool image of a zeppelin flying over NY.

Very nice finds- Congrats! :icon_thumright:

Cool bracelet! I agree with Red-Coat about the "plug." It' just too fancy to be a bottle plug. Thanks for sharing.

Nice find's!
Your "plug" looks like a horse harness rosette to me?!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Your "plug" is a really nice, fairly rare glass domed bridle rosette. I found one here several years back with an initial on it. I believe a gal here posted a book on these beautiful rosettes in which you might find yours. Do a search on my name and "rosette".

Very cool finds - congrats !

My Wife does a lot of horse saddle repair - she said the other piece is a "Rosette" - used on horse bridles, halters, etc.

Thanks for the Id as a rosette. If I hold the back as if a strap was going through it, the flowers would be oriented perfectly. Thanks everyone.
