Awesome, Jeff, expecially after hunting it that much before! How deep was the Barber?

About 7" on the Barber. "Guesstimate"

Nice! ?What depth were you finding everything at? ?How did the two machines compare?

I'd say All Old Coins Between 6" & 9", But Am wondering If Most Were On Edge.

The SOVEREIGN is an Amazing Detector Especially For Depth With a W.O.T. Coil,

But So far it Seems The Explorer-2 Is ALOT more Sensitive on Silver.

Ever Since I'v Been Searching Places I hit Hard With The Sovereign, I'm Pulling Out Silver Dimes, I missed with it.

I know when I still had my Explorer XS I was able to get that kind of depth almost everywhere, and the Explorrer is a killer on on-edge coins.

Nice diggs Jeff. The edges almost always produce. The last 100 guys tend to forget about them. I make alot of finds on the borders. Everyone dives for the open area's.

Keep up the good work.

HH Jer

Great job, jeff. I see why you're the "master" and we are just the "grasshoppers". (Kung Fu)

LOL Haupin, But Compaired to Alot Of others finds Lately,

? ?I Don't Think this Is So Great A day? 8)

THANKS THO, It was Fun Finding Them :)

Awww, Jeff! You can't compare one day to the next. You have to take each day on its own merits. Was the weather nice? Did you have fun? Did you meet any interesting folks while you were out hunting? If so, all of that, topped off with the silver, makes for a great day! Of course, it would have been a really good day if you had popped up a double eagle. J/K!!! ;D

Yea I would of Been Happy With Half an Eagle "af" :D

Maby Next Time ;)

Well, I guess a Half Eagle day could be called pretty good! ;)

Great finds!! Some old schools in my area are on my list; just need to go. :-\

Jeff,

nice finds. Interesting results with the different detectors; good report; 6-9 seems to be a good depth range.

Nice finds Jeff,

looks like my old junior high school (almost an exact replica)!

Brings back memories, and wish I could hunt it again (it's been 10 yrs or more since the last time) but I'm like a 100 miles away from there now >:(

oh well, I'm over it,

on to the next place ;D

Jeff

Have you tried the WOT on the explorer? My friend is thinking about getting the WOT for his explorer.
