I went back into the river today with my Deus 2 to see if I could pull out another ring or two. I found 2 more rings, a cameo, and some barber coins.

Beautiful old class ring. Can you see any inscriptions inside? Since the school is still in existence, it might be possible to find who it once belonged to.

I wonder how many times the hand that wore that ring was hit with a ruler. “Sister Mary Mangler” school of discipline. 🤭
It took me a long time to get over the fear of nuns😰
 
that's pretty sweet. I'm sure that during the depression a class ring would have been strictly a luxury item and purchased only by those with money to spare
